So the season is coming to the end, and the courses will be closing after Thanksgiving, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop. Believe it or not, golfing in the winter is possible. A number of places allow winter playing. A few years ago I witnessed at Attitash ski resort, people in skis and snowboards, playing down a closed off trail. Yes, it included a tee box, and a flag in a hole. I know I will be trying it out this winter to keep my swing sharp. I'll see you out there.

Practice Drills Pocket Guide: Proper Golf Grip Basics
This week I wanted to talk about the fundamentals, and the most important one of them all is how to hold a golf club. It's he basis for everything.
For starters, stand up straight nice and tall and bring your hands to your sides in a relaxed position. Next bring your hands out in front of you, put them palm to palm, as if you were about to pray that could hit the ball. This is what your grip is going to be like is this position. Now from here grab the end of the club with your left hand, shown in the upper left picture. Next bring your right hand infront of that one, and wrap it over. When looking at your hand position it should look like the far right picture. The most important part here is you can now start swinging, but you don't want to grip to tight. This of the club as a bird. Hold onto it firm enough so it can't fly away, but not so firm that you'd choke it.
