Sagamore Hampton Golf Club is the first public pay to play course in New England. I was fortunate enough to play here this week, and let me tell you the course is absolute beautiful. The front nine was nice and open, and the back nine turn a little more narrow, making accurate shots count. I met the owners and they are wonderful guys. The course has been in the family since it was opened in 1962. Richard still lives in the original farm house that was on the property when his father and grand father purchased the farm land in the 50's.

Wet Fall

It's been so wet these last few weeks that I wanted to remind everyone reading here at Golf New England that last year was much worse. This is the 4th, 5th and 6th holes at Indian Mound Golf Club last year. There was so much flooding after the tropical storm, most of the fairways were under water. There was literally I river running through it. So just be thankful for the little bit of wet we've been getting, and don't forget, to hit'em straight.
